An aluminium cassette is standardly designed as a single-sided sound-absorbing module. This means it is fully closed on one side and perforated on the other (the side where sound absorption is required). Behind the perforated side is a layer of heavily compressed rock wool that is water-repellent, non-combustible, and weather-resistant. The rock wool is protected by a fleece.
Acoustic barriers are finished with a high-quality polyester powder coating as standard. In principle, they can be produced in any desired RAL colour.
